Werbung // Auf Bali waren wir nicht nur begeistert von der tollen Natur, der beeindruckenden Kultur, den Stränden und der Lebensart, man kann auch wunderbar essen. Wir haben viele besondere Cafés und Restaurants ausprobiert und uns zwischendrin gefragt, wie das eigentlich mit der Strandfigur zusammenpassen soll, aber das war über all die Leckereien auch schnell wieder Vergessen.

Unser absoluten Favoriten haben wir heute hier für euch gesammelt, in allen bereisten Regionen gut verteilt, damit ihr wo auch immer es euch auf Bali hinzieht schon einmal ein paar Food Tipps parat habt.

EN // On Bali, we were not only thrilled with the great nature, the impressive culture, the beaches and the way of life, you can also eat wonderful. We have tried many special cafes and restaurants and asked ourselves in between, how is supposed to fit together with the beach figure, but that was forgotten quickly about all the delicious treats. 

Um es übersichtlicher für euch zu gestalten, haben wir den Beitrag nach Regionen sortiert, so findet ihr bei uns Tipps für Seminyak, Canggu, Nuss Ceningan und Ubud. Natürlich kommen auch immer wieder neue tolle Cafés und Restaurants auf Bali dazu, solltet ihr also Ergänzungen haben, schreibt uns doch gerne eure Tipps in den Kommentaren!

CANGGU // Outdoor Sofa, Kissenlandschaft, Pinke Wand und der Schriftzug „You’ll See it when you believe it“. Davor ein hübsches Mädchen mit einer Smoothie Bowl in der Hand. Na, wer weiß wo wir sind? Ich glaube jeder kennt dieses typische Bild von Instagram und auch wir haben natürlich The Loft in Canggu einen Besuch abgestattet. Das besondere abgesehen von der schönen Location? Mit Früchten kann man sich sein Wunschwort auf der Smoothie Bowl servieren lassen und so haben wir Blog personalisierte Bowls bekommen.

EN // When you are scrolling through your instagram or pinterest to be inspired for the best food spots in Bali you’ll definitely see all the lovely pics of the Loft. Or better: You will see all the beautiful girls in front of the signature wall of the Loft in Canggu. A pink wall with the quote: You’ll see it when you believe it. But this place is more than just an instagram worthy spot. Delicious smoothie bowls for breakfast or a extensive and tasty menu for lunch or dinner. The Loft will be the perfect choice for any time of the day. We enjoyed our time at the Loft and yes, this place is worth the hype.

CANGGU // Der perfekte Sonntagmorgen in Canggu startet mit einem asiatischen Brunch mit Sicht auf die Surferbucht. Im Ji Restaurant wird eine beeindruckende Location mit toller Aussicht verbunden mit erstklassiger Küche. Ob Japanische Egg Benedicts, leckeres Sushi oder ein süßes Lemon Panacotta, hier erwartet einen besonderes Essen in tollem Ambiente. Es war uns ein Vergnügen im Ji Restaurant Gast zu sein.

EN // Imagine a perfect Sunday Morning. Is there anything better than to have a 180 degree ocean view over the bay of Canggu, watching all the surfer catching the next wave and to have an absolutely delicious and very special sunday brunch? The Ji combines an outstanding location with next level cuisine. The fusion of the Japanese and Chinese culture combined with flavors from all over the world and local influences is fascinating and delicious. Japanese egg benedicts, delicious sushi rolls or lemon pannacotta with boa leaf granita? Everyone will find something special and tasty here and just have a great time. It was a pleasure to be here.

CANGGU // Mittagessen wie bei Freunden in entspannter Surfertreff-Atmosphäre und stylishem Interieur? Das Mai Tai liegt in Canggu zwar ein bisschen versteckter, das sorgt aber dafür, dass es nicht so überrannt ist und man wirklich entspannt seine frische Kokosnuss schlürfen und auf das leckere Essen warten kann. Die Atmosphäre ist herzlich und das Essen lecker. Unser Tipp? Als Vorspeise das vegetarische Carpaccio wählen und unbedingt Platz für einen Nachtisch lassen!

EN // Lunch with friends in a relaxed surfer atmosphere and stylish interior? The Mai Tai is a bit more hidden in Canggu, but that makes sure it is not overrun and you can really relax while sipping your fresh coconut and waiting for the delicious food. The atmosphere is warm and the food is delicious. Our tip? As a starter, choose the vegetarian carpaccio and leave space for a dessert!

CANGGU // Ebenfalls ein wenig abseits vom Trubel der Hauptstraße liegt das Sprout. Ein süßes kleines Café in dem man herrlich frühstücken oder auch nachmittags einkehren kann mit herrlichen leckerem und gesundem Essen. Ob leckere Salate, Blaubeerpancakes oder das obligatorische Smashed Avocado Toast, hier findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack. Besonders auch die frischen Säfte sind sehr lecker und zu empfehlen.

EN // Also a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main road is the Sprout. A sweet little café where you can have breakfast or a small break in the afternoon with wonderful delicious and healthy food. Whether tasty salads, blueberry pancakes or the obligatory smashed avocado toast, here everyone will find something to his liking. Especially the fresh juices are delicious and recommended.

SEMINYAK // Unseren ersten Abend verbrachten wir im Strawberry Fields, allein deshalb liebe ich diesen Laden. Aber er ist auch einfach besonders schön und man muss eigentlich sowohl bei Tageslicht, als auch wenn es Dunkel ist und alle die Lichterketten und Lampions leuchten hier sein. Man sitzt hier einfach perfekt zwischen all den Pflanzen und der liebevollen Dekoration und das Essen ist einfach herrlich. Wir haben bis knapp an die Völlerei die Karte rauf und runter bestellt und von Bowls über Burger, typisch asiatische warme Gerichte oder Cocktails bleibt einfach kein Wunsch unerfüllt.

EN // When you are in Seminyak a lot of cute cafes and other nice restaurants will crossing your way in the main streets of the center. But there are other places really worth a visit a little bit more outside. Strawberry Fields is one them and we can really recommend it. The place is so beautiful with all the plants and when it’s getting dark there are lanterns and light strings all over the ceiling. The selection of the menu is overwhelming and it doesn’t matter what kind of food you’ll order, everything is so delicious. The cocktails are great, too. So we started with tasty food and ended with a really funny cocktail night. When you are in Seminyak, you have to visit Strawberry Fields!

SEMINYAK // Etwas Süßes darf in unserem Foodguide natürlich nicht fehlen. Wir sind in Seminyak auf das Poule de Luxe gestoßen, ein entzückendes kleines Café, das auch so eben in einer Seitenstraße von Paris zu finden sein könnte. An der Theke kann man sich vorlauter süßer Kleinigkeiten gar nicht entscheiden, denn es gibt nicht nur Macarons in allen Farben und Geschmacksrichtungen sondern auch süße kleine Cream Puffs, typisch französische Croissants, Tartes und vieles mehr. Wir waren ganz verzückt und sind mit einem kleinen Zuckerschock aber glücklich wieder gegangen.

EN // Where to find the best macarons and other french desserts at the highest level? Of course at Poule de Luxe in Seminyak, Bali! We didn’t expect a patisserie like this in Bali but we were at sweettooth heaven. Would like a lemon pie with meringue, macarons with any flavor you can imagine or better sweet little cream puffs?

Poule de Luxe is a cute little cafe, perfect for breakfast or a sweet afternoon date. But be careful, you’ll want to try more than you can eat, everything looks so delicious but you’re lucky, the sweets are available as take away, too.

SEMINYAK // Im Mad Pops ist der Name Programm. Ein bisschen mad muss man alleine schon sein, um sich in die meist lange Schlange zu stellen, aber dafür muss es ja einen Grund geben. So ist es auch, denn das Eis ist nicht nur ausgesprochen lecker, man kann sich zwischen besonderen Sorten, speziellen Toppings oder Waffeln sein persönliches Lieblingseis zusammenstellen. Das sieht dann auch gleich so schön aus, dass es pro Kunde zwei Minuten Fotozeit gibt, um sein Meisterwerk vor der hübschen Wand direkt festzuhalten. Ja hier auf Bali ist man für alle Selfiequeens gewappnet.

EN // In Mad Pops, the name is Program. You have to be a bit mad to face the long line, but there must be a reason for that. That’s how it is, because the ice cream is not only delicious, you can put together your own favorite ice cream between special varieties, special toppings or waffles. It looks so beautiful that there are two minutes of photo time per customer to capture his masterpiece directly in front of the pretty wall. Yes here in Bali they are prepared for all selfie queens.

NUSA CENINGAN // Auf den Nusa Islands im Süden von Bali schien die Welt für uns stillzustehen. Fernab vom Trubel drehte sich hier für uns alles ums Schnorcheln und beeindruckende Meeresbuchten. Auf unserem Streifzug über die Insel haben wir Pause im Sea Breeze gemacht und hätten hier den ganzen Tag verbringen können. Soviele besondere Details in der Deko, ein kleiner Pool, Schaukeln am Strand und leckeres Essen. Eine Hängematte und ein Schaukelstuhl luden zum Bleiben ein und chillt einfach. Nirgendwo passte der Begriff besser als hier.

EN // On the Nusa Islands in the south of Bali, the world seemed to stand still for us. Far away from the hustle and bustle, everything revolved around snorkeling and impressive sea bays. On our trip across the island, we took a break at Sea Breeze and could have spent the whole day here. So many special details in the decoration, a small pool, swings on the beach and delicious food. A hammock and a rocking chair invited to stay and just chill. Nowhere did the term fit better than here.

UBUD // Das Spice by Chris Salans ist eine besondere Erfahrung. Das Team ist einfach großartig und man kann dem Team in der mittig platzierten, offenen Küche mit viel Freude beim zubereiten der Gerichte zusehen. Hier werden typische balinesische und indonesische Zutaten und Gerichte neu interpretiert und besonders schön arangiert. Wir hatten hier einen nicht nur besonders leckeren, sondern auch sehr lustigen Abend – auch die Cocktails waren wirklich lecker und das Dessert zum Niederknien.

EN // The Spice by Chris Salans is a special experience. The team is just great and you can watch the team in the centrally located, open kitchen with great pleasure in preparing the dishes. Here, typical Balinese and Indonesian ingredients and dishes are reinterpreted and aranged so beautiful. We had a not only delicious, but also very funny evening – the cocktails were really delicious and the dessert to the kneeling down.

UBUD // Last but not least: Coffee. Wo wären wir ohne unseren obligatorischen Kaffee? Ebenfalls ein bisschen abseits befindet sich das hübsche Ganggga Coffee. Für uns nach einer entspannenden Massage der perfekte Ort für einen leckeren Kaffee, vielleicht einen frischen Smoothie und einen kleinen Snack bevor es zur nächsten Yogastunde weitergeht. Am liebsten natürlich vor dem wunderschönen Wandbild im ersten Stock.

EN // Last but not least: Coffee. Where would we be without our obligatory coffee? Also a bit off the beaten track is the pretty Gangga Coffee. For us after a relaxing massage the perfect place for a delicious coffee, maybe a fresh smoothie and a small snack before continuing to the next yoga class. Of course, in front of the beautiful mural on the first floor.
